Fourth amendment? whats that?

Heinrich Himmler would be proud that his Gestapo was reconstituted as the American Dept. of Homeland Security.

Quote:
The Department of Homeland Security’s civil rights watchdog has concluded that travelers along the nation’s borders may have their electronics seized and the contents of those devices examined for any reason whatsoever — all in the name of national security.

According to legal precedent, the Fourth Amendment — the right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures — does not apply along the border. By the way, the government contends the Fourth-Amendment-Free Zone stretches 100 miles inland from the nation’s actual border.

I normally don't agree with you, but I will on this one.

Why blame DHS, they didn't pass Securing our Borders and our Data Act of 2009 (H.R.
239), and I don't think that Himmler would have felt all that much kinship with the 9th Circuit when it decided

United States v. Arnold, 523 F.3d 941 (9th Cir. 2008),

I always thought Eric Holder with a monacle was the black Heinrich Himmler - there is a resemblance

THEY can do pretty much whatever the hell they want in the name of "national emergency" anymore. It's just a matter of time until they go all in. Something is going on behind the scenes I think. The gun nonsense is a diversion. Keep your eyes open.

Eric Holder is Heinrich Himmler reincarnate. He was the #2(no pun intended) under Janet Reno when she recused herself during the Waco Massacre investigation. Yes, Eric was the understudy of the Gestapo's best. Reno should have been tried for manslaughter for killing those kids at Waco. Now we have an extremely corrupt AG offshoot running the Justice Dept., and it's a serious problem. Now don't get me wrong, I am fully aware that Eric Himmler is getting his marching orders to unleash the brown shirts from mein fuhrer Obama. Question is, how will Eric react when he gets thrown under the bus? (hint:follow the money trail)
Oh wait! I thought Dubya was the villain we were all to fear? Obama is the most transparent prez we have ever had? Remember? All that hopey changey garbage? No, Obama has kept almost all of the Bush policies in place.

Whatever gripe you have with DHS, if it was really like the Gestapo, you would be afraid to post what you did in a public forum for fear of being dragged out of your bed not to ever be seen again.

The severity is quite different, but the formalities of the organizations, are quite the same.
