Puberty is not a decision--its an event--and a growth stage. Gay people figured out they were gay at puberty as well--though many still *choose* to ignore their natural homosexual tendencies and make a mess of their lives by marrying women they aren't attracted to.
So when you hit puberty, you chose to be attracted to the opposite sex. You chose this. It wasn't something that you couldn't control, you could control it. So you could've gone either way, you could've just as easily have chosen to be gay, right?
There is a good idea who this guy works for & sure isn't God.
The God I know and worship is welcoming, and loving to all. He will determine our ultimate fate. He's also definately different than the one it seems you may worship. Are you a Christian?
You can choose who to be with. No one chooses what sex they are attracted to. Some people are attracted to the opposite sex, the same, or both sexes. That's the way God made us.
So, you are saying you choose the behavior, "who to be with". So homosexuality, whom you are attracted to, is not the sin but the behavior of sodomy is and yes, that applies to homo and hetero.

And for those that don't believe in God, you really don't have any immediate problem. And, for those who want to try to infringe on one's freedom of speech by calling someone a closeted homosexuality, how immature are you like 8 years old? Maybe the Bishop has one foot in the closet.
