I have never ever wore a bicycle helmet while out riding a bike.
Who freak'n knew, the city council passed a law, that if you ride a bike, even on your own property, you MUST wear a helmet.
Cutting my grass in the afternoons during the summer, is illegal. Who knew? I do it all the time!
It is illegal here, if you put recyclables, in the trash can. No one told me.
What are some of those that you found out you could not freely do it. and it is silly.
Great thread!
Let's see, I recently found out that having my trash can in view from the street is illegal. I was researching something and stumbled upon that fact.
I'll run stoplights that are "pink" as I call them (just turned red )
I always drive 5-10 over the speed limit on the highway or freeway.
When I lived in South Dakota in the mid 80's I remember at the time that it was technically illegal for 3 Native Americans to meet as it constituted a war party and a white man was within his rights to open fire on them. One of those 100 year old laws that fell through the cracks.
I break laws that seem stupid and don't make sense and which would do no harm to anyone as long as one is using commonsense. I use commonsense and logic to make my decisions. So far, so good. I am SO tired of the government having their nose in all of my business because they have proved they do not have commonsense and/or logical thinking.
I just want to know how a driver, a sheep and their chaperone all sit in the cab of a truck?
And why would sheep need a chaperone...
Oh, wait....ewwwww.
