It doesn't matter.......why a woman chooses to abort is no one's business but her own.

He\she couldn't figure that out before having sex?

Personal responsibility must not be in your vocabulary.

It's always been interesting to me that (typically) the same people who believe we must protect every fetus at all costs are also pro-gun, pro-war, pro-capital punishment and ANTI-any social programs designed to help the less fortunate.

It's not for the fathers.

But again, I'm not arguing over the legality, just the...the way it's viewed. It's a problem. It shouldn't happen. It's like people getting hugely obese, just to get gastric bypass, or lap band, they shouldn't be getting that fat. Why are Americans getting so fat. I'm not saying fat people are bad or evil, or anything like that, but, seriously, America has an Obesity problem. America has a prison problem. A gun violence problem. A higher education/ debt / kids graduating with useless degrees thinking they are owed some fantastic job despite having nothing but a piece of paper and no skills to support it problem, and yes, a people with no business having kids yet, having kids problem.
Well you can have whatever opinion you want about it, we all have opinions, but at the end of the day it should be legal.

You could wear six condoms when having sex, accidents can and do happen. The government shouldn't be making choices for people.

That is the ironic part, protect every fetus but who cares if they starve or are killed once they are born.

How many abortions are a matter of healthcare, vs convenience?

That's really none of my business, that's between a woman and her doctor.

The government makes your decision for you as to whether you choose to wear a condom or not?

If you'd read even my first post, you'd know I'm not arguing that. It should be legal, but it should be FROWNED upon. Like declaring bankruptcy because you went on a massive shopping spree with your new credit cards and now you owe more money than you can ever expect to pay back and so you're declaring bankruptcy.

You're not the guy who opened his own business, operated it responsibly, but it fell through, and he's declaring bankruptcy.

In the first, you've got the person who should have been taught better. Should have been more responsible. Should have known better, couldn't have possibly been so stupid as to not know how credit cards work.

For the latter, you've got a responsible person who is doing it because despite their best efforts, it's the best option.
