I'm not violent, I did use drugs at one point but no more than your average teen in the late 80's. And I lost my virginity at a fairly late age. My parents were divorced when I was 4.

I know of marriages that were best divorced. No sense is people throwing away any chance of happiness by staying with the wrong person, like my wife's brother who married at 19 years old and found out his wife was pretty much crazy. Lasted one year.
But I've known people to get married, have 3 kids and then get divorced over something stupid, like the husband won't give up his Vegas trips with his buddies or his hunting trips, or a wife who thinks carrying 50K on credit cards is normal behavior. So they just divorce rather than trying to work things out.
But no matter, marriage will be a thing of the past in America in it's last days.
