Have you ever used the term "creepy ass cracker" or "ni**er", as Martin did? Do those terms make him out as less than a saint too? Or is that somehow...different?
A term DeeDee testified as common in her community.
Which makes her that much more credible. She could have easily cleaned up the language to make Trayvon look like the patron saint of the King's English. But she didn't.
No she isn't. She is intimating that when people use that type of language they are not necessarily planning a murder. Most normal people get that. It isn't defending the language per se. If she was defending it, she would repeat that language as well, during her testimony, and she didn't. She allowed the Prosecution to pretend the language bothered him.
Nobody is indicating or suggesting that the language indicated "premeditation"....and this is not a 1st degree premeditated case, not a capital case.
We all understand people don't normally call others those kinds of names without some kind of emotion involved. Everyday common sense.
