It's mind boggling how blindly all of GZ supporters have whole-heartedly accepted his account despite ALL the circumstantial evidence of that night that should at least make you a little skeptical of his account. Why is that?
You're arguing that GZ account is undeniably true & accurate based on nothing but his word. The only way you could rationalize that is if his account already fits in with what you think of an unknown Black teen.
There was NO evidence to convict!!
Circumstantiol goes both ways. There was reasonable doubt. Can't convict!
Are you saying because someone pushes you (we know he didn't strike him) that you are justified to put a beat down on them and bash their head into the side walk?
How do you know that Zimmerman didn't strike him? Because Zimmerman said so?
Zimmerman would never have had the nerve to follow Martin if he didn't fully intend to use that loaded gun if things got too "hot." We have no idea when he pulled that gun, whether or not he hit Martin or threatened him first, who exchanged words first, nothing - only the testimony of the defendant, who also claimed that he was only persisting in getting out of his car and following Martin in order to "find his correct address and tell it to the dispatcher." Yeah, right. There were only about two streets in that neighborhood - just give the dispatcher a description of your vehicle and then sit tight till the police get there.
But no...He just had to get out and follow Martin - and the only reason he felt like he could do this is because he fully intended to use that gun if he felt threatened. He just didn't stop to think, apparently, that the person he was following might feel threatened (who wouldn't?) and just might respond in fear and anger.
Near or close to the house is nowhere near the top of the T where it all happened. This was big, that's why they sat in four minutes of silence, to show that TM became the aggressor at that point when he made the decision to go find GZ
And what was Zimmerman doing in that 4 minutes? That was more than enough time to return to his truck.
OH, I get it ! ---only the dead victim would need to account for what he did during those minutes, not the guy who shot him to death.
Too bad the living one, Zimmerman, never did account for what he did during those 4 minutes. Maybe pursuing Trayvon?
If it was such a 'beat-down', why didn't Zimmerman fight back physically?
Because he had an equalizer in his waistband, without which he would have no choice but to fight back. I imagine many of his supporters are cowards without their manhood in their waistbands as well.
What crime was Trayvon committing walking home from the store, unarmed?
I don't think there's anyone that would argue he was committing any crime at that point. However, once he decided to injure Zimmerman, he was indeed committing a crime - one which Zimmerman felt threatened his life. In my opinion, the defense (and frankly the prosecution) proved that Zimmerman indeed acted just in using self-defense.

Nobody committed a crime.
