I honestly don't know their position on 17 year olds carrying guns. If they support 17 year olds using guns, why would they be against them carrying them???
Does anyone know??
The NRA fully supports children having guns. They even have their own webpage and magazine geared for kids.
If Martin had a gun he would have been found guilty of having murdered a neighborhood watchman. He would cost more to the taxpayers than his current costs.
This is an excellent point from Smiley. After Newton, Wayne LaPierre and the NRA came out blaming the school, the teachers, and pretty much everyone else for not being armed as the reason for the shooting.
Now with the Martin case, they have been completely silent. Why haven't they come out to say it's Martin's fault for not being armed? Could it be because he's black?
Because he was a violent criminal, wanting them to be armed is like wanting a rapist to have a bigger penis. only those with evil intent would wish such a thing.

Trayvon Martin has no arrest record, how can you say he was a criminal let alone a violent one?
The NRA doesn't support 17 year olds carrying guns?????
Did your dad ever take you hunting ? My sons (and I) started hunting rabbits, squirrels, etc at about 14 years old or earlier.
They never handled a handgun but small shotguns and as they got older a deer rifle.
You've got to be 21 to own a handgun. It's main use is as either target practice and to concealed carry.
The NRA supports kids learning to use appropriate firearms for their age.
Being a gang banger and carrying a 9mm at 16 is not appropriate or lawful.

He was underage and could not legally possess a handgun. Epic fail. What else have you/they got? That's rhetorical of course....
