Just as an aside: I've gotten some of the right-wingers so annoyed tonight that one of them just PM'd me as "loretta," asking for my personal e-mail address so she can send me her picture. My weekend is complete!

I think the facepalm of Patrick Stewart would have been more appropriate, as an extended immigrant to the United States with a socialist ideology, and a member of Britain's Labour Party...

Tell me something, why did you leave? the workers paradise was not heaven on earth?
Iraqis, Afghanis, American troops, people with pre-existing medical conditions, poor kids, young women who need birth control, non-believers, gays...the list is rather long.
You actually believe people on the right have none of these issues?
No I do not believe that 1 immigrant is a threat, you would have to be high to believe that, now large numbers of people who have such views...then yes I do believe it is threat.
I'm a little lost how we are going to screen on immigrant political ideology, particularly because you attribute that it accumulates en mass. A somewhat reoccurring topic on P&OC is whether Islamic immigration should be curtailed or stopped , which was included as a poll choice in your prior topic (I asked you which of your poll selections you had chosen, but you didn't reply), bringing religious ideology also into the mix. A City-Data poll really isn't a valid indicator of public perception either.
Let's say for the sake of the argument, that a prospective immigrant being interviewed in a U.S. Consulate (in this example, Mexico, U.K., Canada, or a wide variety of other countries) lets it drop that their country's ban on personal weapons is a grand idea to keep the peace (that wouldn't be my wife by the way, she loves the ability to fire a gun)...

Why did I leave where? I thought we had established before that I am a native-born U.S. citizen that had served in the U.S. military (both Army and Navy), with a foreign-born wife and stepchildren. If you want to throw some barbs, at least understand my background.
I said that Patrick Stewart was a socialist and an immigrant (although he has returned to Britain on his own volition, not deported like his fellow British actor Steven Burkoff), not myself...
