You are wrong. I have already pointed out areas where O'Reilly's assertions run against all evidence.

You have a segment of the Black population that is doing very well, in terms of income and education. Things have progressed for many. There is another segment that is doing poorly. And it is that segment where you find the poverty, the crime, the poor education attainment. It is that segment that gets the most attention. Unfortunately, if it bleeds, it leads.

I would not trust anything O'Reilly says. Everything he is about, he is about having an agenda, pleasing his constituents, and basically, I don't watch FOX News or MSNBC. I do not need politics with the news. I don't need a slanted view of anything.

I know you know--but you didn't specify in that post--that the segment that is working and progressing is five times larger than the segment at the bottom.

If I took a survey and discovered that 15% of Republicans believe the sun revolves around the earth, would I be right in thinking all Republicans to be ignoramuses?

I didn't think about mentioning numbers. I was thinking about the differences between one segment of the Black population vs another segment. But I would say there are more Blacks in the successful segment of the population than the poorer segment of the population. I think we both know it. I was thinking at the moment "alot of people probably know".

In this case you'd have a case.
