No wonder service has declined in this country. The attitude of the "service" industry has become deplorable. Now they have gotten to the "bus your own table" point.
Well when you got folks like on this thread who scream that if somebody spills something at a restaurant it's not anybody's job there to clean it up or anything else what do you expect? Also anybody who does spill something is a lazy slob who will raisees lazy slobs etc. etc. etc.

Nobody has said staff should not clean tables and messes, Cletus. You're thick, but you're not that thick.
You're also growing increasingly defensive, which is a good thing. You're actually thinking about your behavior.

Well these folks seem to be a cut above in their eyes. You see they go out and eat and apparently clean up the tables, floor and dishes afterwards. Now I've never seen it before but it must happen all the time or they are just pulling our chain.
