Imagine if conservatives stopped complaining about a media bias.
Imagine if the media reported news instead of trying to socially engineer and manipulate it. Wouldn't that be refreshing. Both extremes are equally at fault.

I agree with you, and what a great word. Todays media is a large stage in which to manipulate the news, and to benefit their cause.
I get disgusted with all aspects of it, no matter what station you choose to listen to, one no better then the next. It is their ideals, or hit the damn hwy, that is what upsets me. There is no discussions anymore, if one side does not think as the other.
Some media is better then others, but for the most part, as far as being fair, i don't see this any more, which is a damn shame, cause it makes it hard to have discussions, when both sides are stubbon as hek.
I like it when the two sides can duke it all and all is fair in love and war, but we all know this is not reality.
Those things just break down "Democrat" and "Republican"; they don't address "liberalism" or "conservatism." For example, does the media softballing a total corporatist like Dianne Feinstein in its reporting constitute "liberalism"? Not in the traditional sense.
Yeah, I never understood why people equate Democrat with liberal or vice versa, unless you consider corporate welfare to billionaires liberal.
There's a ton of conservative media too. AM radio is littered with conservative media. There are tons of conservative websites that generate high traffic like Drudge. And of course FOX News.
Seems to me that conservatives just love playing victim. When the media reports facts that don't fit their world views, they scream BIAS!
Oh hell yes they surely do. Anyone who says otherwise, does not live on this planet.
And they are cracked in their heads!
It is clear, there is no being fair, with the media twirps, and yes they do, protect one side, regardless of how stupid ignorant, and moronic they are. What lying two faced deceitful bastards they are. To say no, you sure as hell ain't living in this real world. A dummy could figure this out.
Unfortunately they do live, and vote, on this planet. The problem is they agree with the bias so either don't see it, or are dishonest and won't admit that it is there, much like the dishonest liberal media. Just look at their responses to this thread, they're like their hero Clinton "it depends on what your definition of is, is".
They don't consider 3x as many negative articles about McCain compared to Obama to be bias that alone shows their complete lack of honest or being completely out of touch with reality.

I think most liberals listen to the news or read the paper and they form their own opinion. I think conservatives listen to rush, hannity, etc. and believe their every word. Sorry they are the ones out of touch with reality. Liberals would never listen to liberal radio. They are educated and don't need to listen to someone tell them how to think.
