The Repubs want to defund Obama Care... Why don't they also seek to defund Section 8, Welfare, Cash assistance etc?

When Obama can figure out which parts of the laws he wants to move, keep, change and decide about welfare and section etc and cash assistance then maybe we will discuss it. :-) I think republicans are showing the American voter Obama wants to change LAWS on the fly when it suits him.
Maybe Obama would like to increase the cash assistance to 6000 per month for all black people but I'm not sure that will get him and his 2014 elections in the democrat party. :-) IE the reason why defunding Obama care is he only option since Obama isnt interested in funding it the way it was written into the law by congress of which he SIGNED.

He used to be "The Big Acorn." I believe he may have fallen from the same tree as you.

could it be because the US collects enough taxes to take care of its poor, (that is, if it wasn't wasting so much money on trips and stuff)? (and it is mostly liberals and the media who bring up welfare stories)

as far as obamacare, it will COST jobs-- and conservatives don't want more job losses in a faltering economy-as that will mean more businesses closing and less revenue for the government.

we have enough job losses, closings, and bankruptcies as it is:

http://www.dailyjobcuts.com/

it also irks most of us that congress managed to get itself EXEMPTED from the very bill they foisted on the rest of us-makes us wonder about congressional ethics if you know what I mean.

and now the unions want ou-, as do IRS workers, part time workers, and spouses. (spouses are being dropped from coverage and part-time workers will have to pay more out of pocket)

Because unlike Obamacare people have already got used to those programs. This is the only chance we have to get rid of it.
