Has anyone though that maybe the Russian solution may have come from the G20 summit to avoid the military strike. And if Russia is going to get Syria's chemical weapons then it appears the Obama was right about Syria having chemical weapons and probably using them too.

Ah, my mistake. You're right, I didn't read your whole post.

Let's see what the UN does. If they can't get this done, at the behest of the secretary general, then they are completely hopeless. I don't trust Russia's motives at all.

Wt... Am I missing something? Syria uses chemical weapons, says so what?, Obama pushes for strategic strikes, and suddenly Syria is all "okay... take our weapons."

Even though I don't agree that we should get involved in Syria, are you RWNJ really about to play the willfully stupid game that Assad's actions aren't a response to Obama's?

Putin asked for a US/Syria sit down before the G20.
And then the G20 didn't go so well.

Wrong again, he looks like a genious, if he can get Assad to get rid of his WDM's that some here says he did not have or use, then it is mission accomplished, since the mission was to prevent him from use them again. I do love how our resident cons here all seem to be in a contest to see which of them can sing the praises of a KGB agent and enemy of the USA loudest and kiss his arse the best, the world truely has changed, and not for the better.

exactly... Obama talked tough, went to Russia and let the world know we aren't playing games and Putin tells Syria to give up the goods.

..and somehow this makes Obama and the US look weak?

smh at these "Americans" who hate their own country.
