High capacity magazine is one with more than 50 rounds.

Why don't you tell me why a law abiding citizen shouldn't be allowed to own them?

And please don't tell me you need it in case Obama tries to invade your home with the US military. Even if that happened you wouldn't stand a chance. They would squash you like a bug.
Because we can.
Who are you or anyone else, to say what we can or can't spend OUR money on??
30rd mags are STANDARD issue. That how they come.

I have a Ruger 10/22 22lr that has 25rd mags. Why shouldn't I be allowed to have them??

I have 2 Glock magazines that hold 33rds. Why can't I have them?? Are you paying for my ammo?

Ok....then the standard 30 round magazines for my AR-15 are fine in your opinion. I can't tell you why a law abiding citizen shouldn't be allowed to own them because there's no valid reason why they shouldn't be allowed to own them.

It could be extended to 30.... I was just throwing out a number. Obviously a study would be required to see where it falls.

Fine in terms of what? We're talking about whether 30-round magazines are required for self-defense. Frankly they aren't. Are they fine for owning? Sure.

It's NOT a "high capacity" magazine. It is standard capacity since that is how they are issued. Anything above that would be high capacity.

Well, I'll tell you that you should learn to read before coming to America. I never said anything about what car a person can or cannot own.

I've owned a porsche in the past and paid the insurance, registration, maintenance, and gas. Why are you so upset about it?

IOW: You have no clue and everything you say is based on irrational, emotional BS and total ignorance.

The Constitution and it's amendments do not limit the rights of the people. They limit the right of the government to infringe upon the rights of the people. The government may only restrict the rights of the people to the extent that the Constitution specifically states it may. The Second Amendment says that government shall not infringe upon the right of the people to keep and bear arms. It doesn't say that the government shall not infringe upon our right to keep and bear CERTAIN arms. It doesn't say that the government can restrict our right to keep and bear any specific arms. Since the Constitution does not give the government any authority to restrict our rights here, and since the Constitution is the ONLY source of government's authority to do anything, the government cannot have any authority to limit our right to keep and bear arms. If you feel differently, please show us the source of the government's authority on the issue.

The 2nd Amendment has NOTHING to do with self-defense. Self defense is protected under the 4th Amendment.
