Why the **** do we even need a professional police force when they act in the most unproffesional and idiotic ways?

Might as well have a bunch of George Zimmermans running around doling out justice.
Don't forget armed to the teeth.

Both comments amazingly not germane to the issue at hand.

As a former cop, I'd have waited him out. They had a camera in the room to keep an eye on him and as someone said, at that age he was bound to fall asleep soon. Hell, I'm only 67 and contemplating a nap right now after about four hours of yard work.

I would say lack of tracking and accounting is very germane, especially given the number of agencies of which we are speaking. How is that even possible? You seem to focusing on the tree instead of the forest.

Only a tree was in the OP. No sense turning it into a forest unless you start your own thread to complain about accountability of government agencies; or lack thereof. To do so in this thread would not serve discussion of the incident. Rather, it would detract from it, just like your last post and this response are doing.

107-year-old man killed in police shootout, authorities say - CNN.com

really they felt threatened??? and no one was in the house??
wonder if he even knew what was going on
honestly gunning down a 107 man
hope they are proud of themselves
they could have handled this a whole lot better!!!

Some research was done on this man on the 110 Club forum. The conclusion of this research is that this man might not have been 107 years old when he was killed died, but he was probably indeed a centenarian when he was killed.

I wonder how many of this SWAT team are former military. Seems like when the police forces across the country started to hire ex military en masse, these things started to happen. Are there any real civilian cops anymore under 30?

-----

Sorry, but I have to say it. Yet another case of excessive Southern police brutality.

This is the quality of policing a leftist federal government is bringing to the masses.

Well done, obamabots.
