Gee, why didn't we do that for 9/11 afterall it was just a "statement" by the extremists to stay out of the ME ?

Some people have a warped idea of what war is.

Syria has Russia and China already there and Iran is right next door.
He can do what he wants. I am saying that if Syria strikes (as in attacking Israel or US interests in the region directly) it will be lights out for Assad. His entire military capability will be reduced to rubble in a week and his enemies will slit his throat in front of his palace. Russia and China (especially) will not get in this fight except through some proxy association.

Where did you get that idea from ?

All I read is that Assad will defend against an attack.
That means Syria is attacked first.

You better go back and re-read your history of WWI and WWII.

Everyone is not just going to sit there on their battleships and watch the US attack Syria.

Assad and Obama are acting like a bunch of teenage boys comparing the size of their wee-wees.

Because the goal is regime change - just like Egypt, just like Libya.

He should not gas innocent women and children and the attack (if it happens) would be in retaliation for that act of mass murder.
Not the same, any you know it.
Some people do not care what Dictators do to women and children, righties never met a Dictator they did not love.
With a couple of ships and a few token ground troops? LOL! No it is not right next door you have a country called Iraq in between, maybe you do know as much about the middle-east as you think.

The US needs to prove to the world that they have verifiable proof that Assad did it.
And they haven't. Even Russia said they would side with a UN resolution once proof has been shown.
