I'm wondering what law do you think would have prevented this that would be both constitutional and enforceable?

I wonder how this fits into the whole "all we want is to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally insane" or "all we want is to ban weapons of war".
Still waiting...

It's clear your agenda is to stop and ban all guns. This in effect will stop all gun owners from bearing guns... That's just too bad.

My 4 year old grand son is being taught about guns and he can shoot now. If my son handles his as i did, my grandson won't shoot himself or anyone else with a gun.

My son, like me received a .22 rifle on our 6th birthdays.

What went wrong in YS is nothing i would know and neither do you.

Somehow a 3 year old child got a real gun and somehow managed to shoot herself.

I find that unfortunate, but I also find the left murdering thousands of un-born each year somewhat hypocritical from you and your ilk. PERIOD

Your ilk by saving the one has allowed all the rest to fall far behind. Your villages have raised inept morons bordering on criminal.

The entire PC experiment is an abysmal failure.

Tragic accidents happen, and no details have been released on how this occurred.

If she had died in a car crash, would you be so callous?
Tragic accident? This was no accident. It was the predictable outcome of negligent behavior by a negligent gun owner.

Exactly, and hopefully he has at least a few thousand rounds of ammo for each caliber he owns.

I'm wondering if this was predictable, when will my guns kill someone?

As soon as terms like this or the usual "gun nut" term get thrown out , in my opinion anything that person has to say means absolutley nothing. If you can't have a debate like a normal human then don't even bother.

chucksnee, my reply was for the post you quoted not what you said.
