A real patriot would never kill a democratically elected President of the United States. A real patriot will vote the President out.

A real patriot who wants a different government will do what's in his power to mobilize his community, his state and his country to vote in the government they want through legal, democratic processes that respect the lives and rights of others. That's the American thing to do.

the problem with registering guns is;

1: federal law prevents the federal government from having a gun registry

2: no one of consequence is threatening to take away our vehicles, on the other hand MANY of consequence ARE threatening to take away our guns, and gun rights. and registration has always been the first step to confiscating firearms, remember 1930s germany? china? japan? australia? britain? canada? cuba? albania? many countries around the world have either severely restricted or banished firearms. and they ALL started with gun registration.

A Scranton man has been arrested for sending this threat to the White House: "President Obama is the Anti-Christ. As a result of breaking the constitution you will stand down or be shot dead. This will be sent to militias throughout the country and the media. Nick Savino." A search of his residence found two licensed weapons, one of which was a loaded AR-15, 11,000 rounds of ammunition, a long-range scope and training manuals on long-range shooting.

There is no reasonable objective way to predetermine who is mentally/emotionally defective. According to some who post here on a frequent basis, anyone who has a different point of view is mentally/emotionally defective.

207 years ago Andrew Jackson killed a man who accused him of cheating on a horse race bet and then insulted his wife. He was never charged and subsequently was elected president.

Contemporaries describe Andrew Jackson, who had already served in Tennessee's Senate and was practicing law at the time of the duel, as argumentative, physically violent and fond of dueling to solve conflicts. Estimates of the number of duels in which Jackson participated ranged from five to 100.

By the way, the enthusiastic followers of Andrew Jackson created the modern day Democratic party.

yes, now some would rather kill from a distance instead, gives the victim a more sporting chance.

HINT: The first amendment is there not to discuss the weather of the day, but to discuss very, very controversial things, including over throwing a tyrannical centralized government taking freedoms from the people.

How did Jefferson phrase it?
There needs to be a bloody revolution in this nation every 20 years to flush the tyrannical ways of man.
Perhaps this fine, upstanding, citizen patriot was just attempting to "Water the Tree of Liberty" like a good right wing, constitutionalist who has memorized all the utterances of Thomas Jefferson.

One man's "Watering the tree" is another man's traitorous sedition.
