We need to downsize all branches of the military.

Contractors generally get paid higher monetary amounts, because they don't have the insurance cost of the military, as well as housing, and food.

Exactly. Senate Democrats showed him the light just a few short months ago.

that's fine. I know that details. My issue is that the guy had mental issues. This should have been a flag.

both get paid with tax payer money. why is it better to pay a contractor 3X the amount of a person in uniform when the money is coming from the same pot? and, at that, they are working for the same cause? it's just a privatized war machine putting more of our money in the pockets of more rich people.

Another good question to ask, in the local areas where he was arrested for gun violence, like shooting out tires and through the floor of his apartment, why and then hell was he not convicted? He was never even brought to trial.

If either of those incidents had ended in his conviction, he would have been flagged on the background checks system also.

Because we aren't subsidizing contractor health care, housing, and food. Over 30% of most Americans income go to those three things. Hell, usually its over 50% of your income goes to those things.

either way, it's still tax payer money going to pay for military expenses. only by using contractors through private companies we are making more people rich with tax payer money and still funding the war machine.

How could there be a 25% drop AFTER the vote?

I don't think your post is a good way to prove your point. Afterall, it denotes quite clearly the DROP in support.
