A huge majority of people, including a majority of gun owners, think we should have expanded background checks. I doubt the issue of expanded background checks will fade away.

I'm still waiting for our President to give the "I could have been Aaron Alexis speech". Oh, that's right, he can't give that one because Aaron served in the military!

We do have to take a close look at why somebody with psychological and weapons problems is still permitted in a restricted area.

I'm all for better background checks and limiting SALES of CERTAIN types of guns; and sorry to sya, that any one with a history of mental issues, should be denied right off the bat.

There is no need for a civilian to own AR; but load up on pistols, shotguns and the like fine. have your way with those!

A shotgun is what the shooter used to get the AR and pistol.

someone needs to also address why so many contractors are getting paid 3 times as much as military and DOD employees to do jobs military personnel can already do. (we already know the answer. campaign contributions and political corruption.) and on top of it all, they had the nerve to downsize the navy.

Such a huge a majority that Senate Democrats couldn't stomach the electoral wrath of their anti-gun votes?

LOL

Face it. Senate Democrats are the reason Barack Obama's anti-gun agenda went down in defeat. Interestingly, you lean on the electorate in a way that absolves these Democrats. If the "majority" were so strong, then why the defeat by the President's own party?

LOL
