I remember learning about the anarchic period pre-Income tax.

Oh, that never happened. It was actually a period of unparalleled growth.

Nevermind.

Well, speaking for himself and a conservative, Harrier hates nobody, and most certainly does not hate Mexicans.

You should know that Mexican is a nationality, not a race.

You are also wrong if you think that conservatives largely "hate Mexicans" - the idea is ludicrous on its face.

Could you please elaborate on what caused you to post such a ridiculous assertion - because it appears that you have been seriously deluded?

Thanks.

As can be seen by the map in the link below, the majority of Central Valley counties are red.

That begs the question: Why do Democrats and liberals hate the Republicans who feed them?

What a laugh. A riotously, hilariously ignorant post.

Please, I get fed by a bunch of poor brown people, and hypocritical white guys who take government subsidies hand over fist and then complain about welfare queens.

Meh.

What do you think happens if you don't pay your taxes? At first a bill will be sent requesting payment, and perhaps your wages may be garnished, a lien placed on your property, or some other mechanism may be utilized to ensure payment of the funds. However, if one has a track record of nonpayment, they will be placed under federal custody, and charged with a crime. Guess with what the people who come to your door will be armed?

It is confiscation at gunpoint - and it is the favorite tool of the anti-liberty Democrats who must coerce people with force to comply with their asinine and destructive regulations.

Republicans believe in a free market, the industriousness and ingenuity of the American worker, and the opportunity for everyone to achieve their objectives through hard work and determination.

No force is needed - only an economic climate that fosters such productivity - which is best provided by a hands off approach by government, and low taxes.

Keep the government out of people's business, and let them thrive.

Farmers have always been mostly conservative. The uncertainty of growing crops makes them naturally conservative.
And most farmers are aging quickly now. The majority of our farmers are now in their 60's and 70's.

This may change as a new generation of people who were born and raised in suburbia are now returning to the land. These folks seek both a different lifestyle and a different way of making their living. As newcomers to farming, they are much more aware of the practices of the past, and are keeping those that work while seeking to change or eliminate those that don't work.
Most of them are better educated than the old generation, and most are quicker to adopt new technologies and are more willing to get more from less ground. Agriculture is under the economic radar, but it is undergoing as big a revolution as other sectors of our economy right now, and eventually will be just as different as other industries in years to come.

Without the farmers of the Central Valley - Americans would have much less variety and quantity of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as meat and dairy products, all which are produced by the red counties of the region.

No - not only Republicans farm - but it is really odd that the left has so much hate for the people who provide such a bountiful harvest.

That begs the question:

Why do you hate the Democrats and liberals who subsidize those Republican farmers and buy their food?

Meh.
And hypocritical white women. Michele Bachman had no problem accepting farm subsidy money, but I doubt she even knows what a field looks like. I don't think she toiled much or got dirt under her fingernails.
