Let's remember that Democrats refused to exempt themselves from this subsidy. They like for us to pay for most of their premiums.

The right wing is wondering why Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi love it enough for everyone else but not for them and their fellow representatives and senators.

As they should. Congressional staffers don't make that much money compared to their skills. That's why so many of them go from the halls of Congress to K Street.

We should be providing health care, as most large companies provide.

I can.

My 21 year old son, who isn't in college and who doesn't have a job that provides health benefits, had had two hospital visits -- one was surgery, in the last few months. Without Obamacare, that would have been an out-of-pocket cost. Due to Obamacare, my son remained on my family health plan.

Thanks Obama!

Small correction, you should be thanking everyone else who is in the same group plan at your work (assuming that is where you got you health insurance from) because their premiums went up to pay for your sons health care coverage.

Oh, here we go again with that same old argument. We? The taxpayers?

What nonsense; and "most large companies" provide it because they should do so? or every company should do it?

What's this "should" business? Who says that? Is "should provide health insurance" in the Constitution?

Do you mean your employer paid more? Because premiums across the board have been rising over the last few years.
