A couple things to remember. Nothing is "FREE" someone has to pay for it.
The Government does NOT have any money, they only have CONTROL over YOU and me.

So, when someone says they get XXX from the Government, what they really mean is they are getting a marked up item that was taken from or indebted to the working class.

The game of musical chairs has begun. This should get interesting.

Grab some popcorn and turn on YouTube, there is going to be serious unrest here in the US folks.

Being hungry is no bueno. Probably the most humbling experience I've ever had.

It could be a planned event... just to see the reaction of the people who can't use the card.. one never knows what the government is up to.

One day the card may not work because their is no money left to borrow from the Chinese and the debt ceiling has gone amuck..

What makes you think grandma has an EBT card?

Fact of life.....Computer systems are prone to glitches.

Xerox: Access restored for food stamp users

People in Ohio, Michigan and 15 other states found themselves temporarily unable to use their food stamp debit-style cards on Saturday, after a routine test of backup systems by vendor Xerox Corp. resulted in a system failure.

Xerox announced late in the evening that access had been restored for users in the 17 states affected by the outage, hours after the first problems were reported.

"Re-starting the EBT system required time to ensure service was back at full functionality," spokeswoman Jennifer Wasmer said in an email.

What a load of propaganda crap! Seniors are only 8% of food stamp recipients.

Who Benefits From Food Stamps? - Brian Fung - The Atlantic

In 2010, that would have been 3.5 million elderly. According to the 2010 U.S. Census there were 40.3 million Americans age 65+. Do the math. Less than 10% of seniors receive food stamps.

Please, stop believing liberal propaganda BS and start thinking for yourself. Verify the accuracy of the manipulative sob stories being spewed by the left. You'd be surprised at how inaccurate nearly all of them are. Low-information voters are ruining the country.

They expose themselves as being incredibly stupid in doing so. Just a few minutes looking up facts and actual data blows their "grandma has to go hungry now" BS to smithereens.
