The thread isn't about Medicare, but since you brought it up...
If that was such a huge disaster, and we also know that Medicare in general isn't sustainable as it is currently setup, WHY are you so gung-ho about Obamacare? The government has PROVEN that it can't manage health care, and YOU have provided some of the evidence!
Why are you cheerleading this?!?!???!!! Is it just a matter of partisan politics? I sure hope not! What is it about this law that has you jumping so high to defend it?
I brought up Medicare D as an EXAMPLE of a huge overhaul that was implemented that, as should be expected, did not up & run smooth as silk immediately. There were problems. THAT is what I'm talking about. I never said ANYTHING about not supporting Obamacare because of that AT ALL. Christ, why do you people consistently twist words? And in case you didn't READ the TITLE OF THE THREAD, it deals with the roll out of Obamacare. Has NOTHING TO DO with specifics of it.
It was actually the other way round, the government hired a private company to do it.
I am here to educate
LOL, Obviously they didn't pick the right people did they. The factors that play into which companies receive government contracts, a process called “procurement,” are fundamentally broken.
“Contracting officers are also afraid of things going wrong down the line inside of a procurement, so they select vendors with a lot of ‘federal experience’ to do the work.”
When things still go wrong, they simply throw ‘more money at the same people who caused the problem to fix the problem.’ And when things still go wrong, they simply throw “more money at the same people who caused the problem to fix the problem.”
LOL, talk about a spin ROFLMAO. What is wrong with you people? Will you stop at nothing to defend Obama and his BOTCHED OBAMACARE rollout?
People are REQUIRED by law to sign up or they will be fined. They may not like it but they are law abiding citizens that are TRYING to comply with the law but the Obamacare website is still a failure, and that's just a simple website, and this is just the signup part.
People are REQUIRED by law to get insurance that goes into effect Jan 1, 2014, or be fined.
They don't have to use this website at all. And there's time for the problems to be worked out.
Obama lovers should be embarrassed about botched roll out of Obamacare

During an appearance on MSNBC today, Gibbs stated, “Let’s just say this is excruciatingly embarrassing for the White House and for the Department of Health and Human Services. This was bungled badly. ... This is a website architecture problem. … I hope they are working day and night to get this done. And when they get it fixed,
I hope they fire some people that were in charge of making sure this thing was supposed to work. We knew there were going to be some glitches. But these were glitches that go, quite frankly, way beyond the pale of what should be expected.”
Well, we would be, but lately we've been too busy wondering if the Tea Potty was going to destroy our entire American way of life.
We'll get back to Obamacare once we have recovered from another Teapublican-induced crisis.
it clearly wasn’t ready to go. Just taking a look at the code that runs the site, you can see that it’s riddled with “Lorem Ipsum Dolor” — the placeholder text that web designers and developers use to demonstrate designs before copy has been written.
Reddit's gone wild with speculation about who built it and, of course, legions of IT experts have come out questioning the architecture of the website.
The contractors who made this website were at best sloppy, and at worst unqualified for the job. So, why did such sloppiness cost the taxpayer, from what I can tell, over 600 Million Dollars?

Right. Bush started his IT project with an Executive Order (no vote) in 2004, and it has cost $30B already, and it is not working. A company I worked for almost went under when we invested millions into a new software system, and when we went live, we ran into all kinds of unexpected issues. Yes, we wanted heads to roll, but the ONLY thing we could do as to have the same people fix it, because they were the only ones who knew the deep bowels of the core of the system.
If Obama and company did the job right you wouldn't have to point fingers and blame. No wonder you people are a bunch of losers.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Hilarious!!!! Considering Obama won two terms, dems won some seats in the House even though it's still teatard controlled & the dems control the Senate. You must be living in some alternative universe.

Oh so it's Bush's fault now, no wonder you people are losers and need a nanny state.
