Notes from an Obama administration meeting about the ObamaCare Web site reveal only six people signed up on the first day.

But, the administration claimed that sign-ups were so many that it crashed the site!

Internal notes indicate only 6 people signed up for ObamaCare on first day | Fox News

Epic failure!

Yesterday, actually. It's only three threads down the main page from this one, so you can't blame him for missing it and re-posting.

Considering the fact that your first month's premium is due upon signup, it should not be a surprise to anyone that people have shopped, gotten price quotes, and will then wait to actually enroll & pay the premium until the last minute. That's what I'm doing. Why would anyone pay an insurance premium now for coverage that doesn't start until 1/1/2014? You have until 12/15 to sign up so there is no hurry.

Notice that nobody is even mentioning how many people actually went to the ACA site & obtained quotes but did not complete enrollment. They're only focused on actual enrollments because that's a political tool they can use against the left. Had they allowed people to enroll & not pay until 12/15, there would be millions enrolled by now. It is the insurance companies who insist that the January premium be paid upon enrollment so they can use your money for free for 2 months. Screw them!

Just more political hay for the right, nothing more. Anybody with half a brain knows enough not spend their money before it's time. Why should anybody let the insurance companies use their money interest free for 60 days?

BTW, I live in a state which offers their own exchange. It works very well with no issues at all. I'll enroll & pay the premium in December, as millions more will. No big deal.
