Rather, the entire handbook is a tactical guide to tearing down the law.

Republicans have no playbook to create jobs, they have no playbook to build infrastructure, they have no playbook to pass immigration reform, they have no playbook to pass a budget -- and they have no playbook to propose a better health care system.

Make no mistake: As Republicans show that their priority is to protect special interests, destroy the Affordable Care Act and side with insurance companies, Democrats will stand on the side of hardworking families. House Democrats will continue to work to offer commonsense solutions to the American people so that health care works, middle-class families can get ahead and the dysfunction in Washington stops jeopardizing the prosperity of this great nation.

Big surprise, they're against it, but offer no alternatives.

Obama-care gave thousands of exemptions to their special interest groups. The unions are soon to receive an exemption. Obama gave the business sector a 1 year exemption.

Funny, but the ACA still will not cover 30,000,000 people....

Deny that!

Here is Covered California's Executive Director's Report, Nov 21, 2013

http://www.healthexchange.ca.gov/Boa...21,%202013.pdf

As of Oct 31, the breakdown of applications was:

30% exchange eligible and subsidized
31% exchange eligible and not subsidized
39% possibly Medi-Cal eligible

The raw numbers (October), for exchange applicants (not counting Medi-Cal eligible):
36,761 subsidy eligible
77,751 subsidy ineligible

Of those who enrolled (plan selected and enrolled in) in October, not including Medi-Cal data:
4,852 are subsidized
25,978 are not subsidized.

November has seen more activity than October. As of Nov 19, 79,891 individuals had selected a plan and enrolled in it, out of 360,464 who have completed an application.

People who do not possess morals or decency are sometimes obvious about it. It was refreshing to listen to Mitt Romney and his repulsive dismissal of half the population of our country as, effectively, parasites. The smiling mask was ripped off. Thank God the president is no longer talking about 'working together' with these scum.

No one is against people having healthcare.

Some are just for stealing the money for it from people, and some are against this theft.

Too bad we haven't spent the hundreds of millions going towards making healthcare more avalable....rather than insurance!!!!!!w

Meanwhile, hardworking middle class families are losing the hours (aka pay) they need to feed their kids due to the ACA. Not to mention, millions have been cut off from their insurance policies also due to the ACA.

The problem is this dog won't hunt. They can come up with all the excuses they want, they can keep trying to make mountains out of mole hills, but at the end of the day the American people know who is trying to improve their situation and who is just trying to make it worse. Republicans have gone all in on the idea that Americans shouldn't get quality health care but that isn't a bet they will win.
