Perhaps a bit presumptive, but I think it's pretty accurate.
What they claim they want for "the unfortunate", is really what they want to be given themselves... No responsibility, no hardship, no need to worry, no need to make good decisions, you'll always have everything you need.

Sounds good to me, wouldnt this be what every one strives for=Happiness.
Problem is the Repubs and the Dems have different ideas of how to get to the same place.

an effort to create a society where there simply are no adverse consequence to making bad choices in one`s life. They do so by limiting the economic success some may have enjoyed if they`ve made the right choices in their life, and passing a percentage of those economic benefits to those who have made poor choices. Its nothing less then stabbing the golden goose that enabled us to develop this, the richest and freest society(at least it used to be) ever to inhabit the earth.
Who do you blame? Its too easy to blame the politicians, the system, the government. No, you have to blame the electorate-they`re the ones who vote themselves money every election. More service more security, more entitlements. let the "rich" pay for it, let the neighbors pay for it. I say-let them spend each others money if that`s their idea of heave on earth, if that`s their idea of freedom fine let them have their cake, but we will not pay for it.
When one becomes liberal they pretend to advocate peace, tolerance, equality and helping the poor, but hilariously, they do so for purely selfish reasons. It's the human equivalent of a puppy dog's face: an evolutionary device designed to enhance survival, reproductive value and status. In short, liberalism is based on one central desire: to look cool in front of others to get love. Preaching tolerance looks cooler than saying "lower my taxes".

There are some that feed a man a hot bowl of soup and apostatize on the teaching of Jesus Christ.
What does it matter if you feed the bowl of soup and apostatize religious teachings, or preach the ideology of "personal responsibility", or give the hot bowl of soup with no judgement what so ever?

Of course the productive in society will be the ones providing it.
How can a light bulb push someone's life so far off kilter? My God. You gave us fire, why did you let us invent whale oil lamps and candles? See what you have caused? Light bulbs have divided us as a Nation-oh lord why?
