However I do dislike how the media makes a big deal about it, a person is gay? Who cares? It doesn't effect you does it? Therefore it shouldn't be news at all. I don't know though why so many gay people feel the need to '' advertise '' their homosexuality so to speak. Who cares? It's your own personal business,II don't want to hear about it.
Gay kids struggling with accepting their sexuality need strong, positive, gay role models. I commend any and every gay celebrity who comes out of the closet for making a positive impact in the lives of kids. In fact, I'd argue that it's a "sin" for gay public figures to remain in the closet.

Also why are there so many threads about gays all the time on here? I'm pro traditional marriage as many of you know, but even I admit that this is ridiculous.

Really some of the people on here seem homophobic to me, which is odd because they also claim to be Christian, but yet Jesus said love the sinner and don't throw stones, that applies to gay people too.

When I was a teen, I was friends with a very out of the closet lesbian who, except for modest breast development, appeared to be just another one of the guys.

We accepted her just the way she was because she accepted herself just the way she was.

There was no debate and no need to change anyone's mind because we all knew that she wasn't normal, but it wasn't an issue that she wasn't.

She was our friend and we liked her.

Of course that isn't good enough for the thought police.

Who is talking about what 'goes on in the bedroom'?

All Robin Roberts did is thank her partner for her support during her battle with breast cancer - on her Facebook page. Where was there any mention of 'what goes on in the bedroom'?

That's nice. So is it only gay men you have an issue with?

As long as the Bible says that homosexuality is a sin, there will be a number of conservative folks who think less of people who live a gay lifestyle.

Why? Has someone asked for your hand in marriage?

You don't have to say Yes.
