Think of the lives saved. This texting fool probably drove whilst texting, too.
Some things just plain don't need to be done in public. Texting and yapping on the phone would be two of those things.
I would add going off the deep end and shooting people onto that list as well. You know, since killing another is the absolute worst offense one can commit! And you talk of 'lives saved' when someone was shot dead? The hell is going on with gun nuts in this country?!
The shooter is an ex-cop.
How many have seen the ex-cop / retired power trip unfold in sticky situations?
I have seen it happen all too often at sporting events, I attend to watch my daughter.
Actually more times then we hear about. Some cops even when off duty or ex-cops are always in power mode. Exaxtly what you stated, on a power trip.
If I listen to this stupid idiotic logic, everytime I see someone texting while driving, which is a lot these days, I would be shooting a awful lot of people! Cell Phones are a way of life today.
Hek when I drive, and someone next to me in another lane is texting and coming into my lane, which many times this has happened. Does this warrant me shooting the person.
'Ol Diane Sawyer said he was texting his 3-year old daughter.
Huh?
First, what 3 year old can read texts?
Second, what's a 3 year old doing with a cell phone?
I learned to read when I was around 3-1/2. My Father read to me in the evenings, and I picked up what the sounds were that the letters made. It happens.
Regardless of that - Why is someone using a cell phone in public deserving of summary execution?
Never know, After telling him to be quieter, the guy may have gone all Trayvon on his ass.
Well, there's plenty of witnesses to tell what actually happened this time... The reports I've read said it was just a verbal altercation and that the old guy wouldn't let it go. How loudly and how long was the guy texting for it to be that big a deal?
Tampa is such a trash dump. News like this is hardly shocking, especially when an ex-controlfreak.....errr, policeman is involved.
