Wow, I just called out on Facebook from a FB "friend" because I was wondering where all of the white people are in this commercial. I am a gay, out, Mexican-american, but certainly not blind that the country is still 68% white. If someone not familiar with the United States saw this commercial, would they think that we were "majority-minority"? I applaud that it featured a gay couple, and an interracial couple at that. Otoh, Hollywood deletes a lot of "minority" people from media, film so I suppose that this commercial is that "in reverse"? Nobody cares to listen WHY a person expresses themselves a certain way and are too quick to judge, in my opinion.

It was far different than that iconic Coke commercial, "I'd like to teach the world to sing", in which people of many different races and ethnicities were presented- good song, nice cheery thought. In this commercial, it was clearly a far leftist view of America in which there are no white people.
This commerical is probably one (of the many) subtle propaganda pieces that we will see which will "persuade" the American public that legalization of illegal immigrants is simply "an American tradition"!
