really? the MCCCP didn't seem to think it was such an irrational idea. this is from their own articles of incorporation:
"... to be a loyal member of the Sheriff’s Posse; to work together as a team in an efficient productive manner; to work within an agreed upon investigation plan that will allow whoever looks at our work to know what the status of the investigation is at anytime; ..."
must be. i've always been under the impression that criminal investigations were run by qualified law enforcement (not civilian volunteers) who sought out expert opinion instead of amateur and were able to back their claims with evidence. obviously the MCCCP does not share that definition.
You must understand that it wasn't a criminal investigation in the beginning but rather a investigation prompted by our petition to see if the birth certificate had problems. That is why Arpaio selected the posse to investigate it. Then the case took a drastic turn that prompted the Sheriff to expand the investigation and he assigned two paid detectives months ago which updated it to a full criminal investigation through the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office itself. Zullo is assisting those compensated detectives and I await their results patiently.
