Once SCOTUS ruled, the Republican Governor of Idaho advocated for a state run exchange to " assert independence and commitment to self-determination, while fulfilling our responsibility to the rule of the law. It's more reasonable to be at the table...."

No, they're not. That's why they passed, completely unfunded, the medicare drug benefit, right? Which costs ~87 times what the medicaid expansion would cost the feds and it would have costs states nothing. Oh, and medical providers in red states have been begging for this because they're still saddled with massive unpaid bills from people who are too poor to pay while that problem virtually doesn't exist in blue states due to the medicaid expansion.

So, as usual, you're just wrong.

Health care is not a right.
That sounds exactly like what one would hear on Fox News several times each day between the hours of 7am and 11pm.

Another word they say a lot on Fox News, is the word "Obama". One day I'm gonna sit in front of the tv and watch Fox News all the first run programs between the hours of 7am and 11pm, and count the number of times the word "Obama" gets said. My guess is 225 times, which would be about 14 times an hour, which averages out to about once every 4 minutes the word "Obama" is said on Fox News, and all of it bad.

But I digress.

I was in the profession, but quit, as have many of my colleagues. In our place, down-skilled, unintelligible English speaking foreign physicians with zero understanding of Western culture.
The language within the O/C document itself is as a page from "Brave New World:" cold, dehumanizing bureaucracy-speak that reduces human beings to objects.
My advice is a boycott of this disaster. In the end, the onus of cost will fall on the shoulders of the tax paying middle class, while illegals, and loaf-abouts will reap the benefits. [Do not believe BO when he claims illegals will not receive coverage. A trip to any urban Emergency Dept. waiting room will quickly controvert that statement.]
Also, take note of the exemptions BO has extended to his cronies and supporters. They do not want this plan and with good reason. We should not wish it either. It is a boondoggle.
Health care is a highly personal relationship between a clinician and people in need. An uncaring, impersonal government [the IRS] has no place dictating what transpires in a doctor's office.

Who cares?

Our society contains several massive socialist wealth redistribution plans - social security, medicare, medicaid, interstate highways, public transportation, veterans benefits, etc.

You want me to take a 15 year old graph seriously?

Obamacare was already proven to lower national health care spending over time.

I would like to see some evidence of that. All I hear from the detractors is hearsay.

The operative word is unfunded. Can't use it if there is no money behind it.

All paid for by federal excise taxes, FICA taxes, medicare taxes, VA benefits are earned, not everybody qualifies. You lose on that point.

Default Another Conservative Against Obamacare on the Public Dole

In one of the Americans For Prosperity ads Emile Lamb in Tennessee who has lupus is complaining because she was forced out of a Tennessee high risk plan that was subsidized and left here paying only $52 a month. Now Tennessee has gotten rid of the plan and she is paying $373 a month under a means tested program. She could have chosen a cheaper plan. It also turns out the Lamb had a horse riding accident in 2007 and racked up hospital bills of $125,000 which the insurance companies and the state wrote off. Now she is complaining about having to buy insurance under a means tested program...You gotta love the AFP and Tea Party..they must think health care is free.

How This Anti-Obamacare Ad Misses The Bigger Health Care Picture
