Yes once appointed you are there. What liberals appear to want is to tilt the supreme court to do what they want. Not a good thing at all. No court should ever bow to political leanings anywhere but it appears that is where we are heading. Obama and his minions are destroying the country.

I see nothing here that would lead one to that conclusion for one and for two there is already a procedure in place for them to do that.
