Its main contradiction can be seen studying human nature. As social beings, heirarchies of power and control will form,
regardless of the existence or non-existence of formal government.

The reason is simple.

Intelligent people tend to make more money. More money brings less dependency. Less dependency means less need for government and its social services.

Poorer people need the government more, many depend on it for housing, healthcare, financial support, loans, childcare, school, etc.

It is what it is. Nothing wrong with either.

We need a government to make sure people don't build nuclear weapons. But it's okay for the same government to have nuclear weapons.

Makes perfect sense. I mean you can't trust your neighbor but you can trust a bunch of power hungry lawyers in D.C.

Maybe if you eliminated taxes on poor people then they wouldn't need to be dependent on others for financial help.

I know that sounds crazy. Letting poor people spend money they earn as they see fit.

If democrats and republicans eliminated sales taxes, gasoline taxes, payroll taxes, Medicaid taxes, taxes on telephone and internet usage, property taxes and the thousands of other taxes we pay then poor folks wouldn't be so poor.

I think many of us recognize that.

And, I suppose you think that's you. right?

I used to work with an engineer at my place of employment, that claimed to belong to "Mensa." He had very little common sense at all, and he wasn't a good engineer either.

You don't have to conclude. We already know it's true. The highest percentage voter base groups the Democrats have are those who never graduated high school (64% Democrat), and the low-income earners (63% Democrat).

It's typical for a libertarian to advocate for basement nuclear weapons. You can't trust any government, but you can trust millions of neighbors? There are millions within destruction range of a basement nuclear weapon.

I personally don't think it makes sense to trust the government OR the neighbors. But what can you do? Live on an atoll?

There are very few people as stupid as libertarians.

The libertarian party is deeply connected to the republican party, and the republican party is fully controlled by corporate CEO's.

These CEO's want low min wages and no workers unions (to keep corporate profits high.)
And these CEO's are against tax cuts for the middle class, and against healthcare for all.

These CEO's only want things like this (and the libertarians serve the CEO's like guard dogs.)
