If you vote no, what reasons do you have to not want these questions answered other than perhaps you are a democrat and put partisan cheering above liberty? Are you afraid this could lead up to Obama, so you don't want these reasonable questions answered? Isn't it our duty to snuff out illegal government targeting of its citizens for political gain of those in power?

Questions:

#1 Lois Lerner said "[E]verybody is screaming at us right now 'Fix it now before the election. Can't you see how much these people are spending?" Who was screaming at her and what actions did she take to "fix it?"

#2 Lois Lerner blamed the targeting on line level people in Cincinnati, how can she then explain the following:
A) The line level people in Cincinnati had documentation that DC had asked for the targeting
B) Line level people in Cincinnati do not have control over other IRS branches, yet targeting happened at IRS branches literally from coast to coast
C) An IRS attorney has stated that the targeting came from an Obama appointee in DC

#3 After the story broke, Lois Lerner in an email said the "Tea Party matter is Dangerous" and asked if "the FEC could save the day." Why is this targeting coming to light so dangerous and why did you want the FEC to help you?

#4 Lois Lerner said that the targeting and questions asked were wrong, apologized, and had stopped. So why did her very office continue sending inappropriate questions targeting and auditing conservative groups with her name on the letters AFTER she admitted it was wrong?

#5 Of the groups flagged for using conservative sounding words, 83% were conservative. Of those groups flagged 100% of the groups actually targeted with an audit were conservative and all of these groups were asked inappropriate questions. How is it that only conservative groups were audited with this program?

#6 Who at the IRS illegally leaked confidential IRS data of conservatives to left-leaning media? When did you find out about it and what have you done to stop it from happening again?

#7 Why did Lois Lerner against regulations improperly contact the FEC directly about conservative groups?

#8 Why were IRS employees breaking the rules by campaigning for Obama on the job to citizens dealing with the IRS? What steps have you taken to prevent this from happening again?

Four questions Lois Lerner must answer about IRS scandal | Fox News
Yes, these questions should be asked, but Ms. Lerner has a constitutional right not to answer them.

Maybe she should go to jail for violating the law then.

She also has the constitutional right to due process.

Of course she does...who is saying she doesn't?

It seems like Democrats aren't arguing for due process, they are arguing for no process. Cover up corruption and move on.

Party over liberty!
There have so many links posted on this. The OP is as proposing questions for Lerner, granted I would have loved to see her testify but there have always been endless interviews and testimony to day. Lacking anything forthcoming from Lerner where are they going.

Go read through the latest evidence that Issa put out for an independent investigation, sure looks like an agency trying to keep up with the influx of 501c's and develop procedures but the GOP wants to believe Obama is at the heart of this directing the IRS.

You left off #9 from your list of four questions: What does Lerner know about Benghazi?

You can't refute with specifics the validity of my questions. You know my questions are valid - that is why you dodge addressing them. The IRS and its employees have factually broken the law on multiple occasions as proven. You don't want to get to the bottom of this for partisan reasons.

Don't be a coward and hide from the questions. Address the specifics or admit that you are fine with government corruption that benefits your political party.

Leftists know the complete truth would be an agenda killer.

Yep, these are important questions that should be answered.

There is a lot of other stuff going on that also needs attention, though. The inquiry will be diminished if the opposition can characterize it as a witch hunt.
