Been reading a lot of the debate here about global warming and whether or not it's man made, natural and how bad it is. I am starting to wonder and worry if it might be global cooling we need to worry about. Record snowfall, cold, in many places this winter, some places getting snow that never got snow before. What are the chances that we could be headed for new mini-ice age or maybe end to this interglaciation that we are overdue for?
Yes, it was cold where you were this winter, must mean global cooling. Of course it will be hot where you are this summer, so that must be global warming.

Strangely, the global warming fanatics seem to go crazy every summer by saying its the __ hottest summer on record... its summer, its suppose to be hot...

No one knows really knows what's happening with the earth, certainly not the people offering up their scientific theories. There is plenty of evidence to suggest we're enterring a cooling period instead of a heating period. This is why they re-branded Global Warming as Climate Change. This way they can claim any change in climate as supporting evidence, as opposed to just warming. It's just another trick to cover the fact that they really have no idea what is going on.

Thus they need to get inventive and massage the data.

Earth's climate swings between warm and cold on a long time scale. It has been warming now since the end of the last ice age and continues to warm.

Yep, weird things can happen when the jet stream starts getting loose, which is something global warming has an effect on. It was also a record breaking summer for people in the southern hemisphere.
