He is rich, Jewish, Liberal Democrat so what he said does not surprise me.
So we're talking about offensive comments he made ... and you toss into the discussion he's Jewish ... which many readers will interpret as an expression of your prejudice. He's also, if reports are accurate, a registered Republican. But you tag him as a "Liberal Democrat" which is, also, an expression of prejudice because of his political persuasion (if correctly identified). That he's rich is of his own doing, not something inherited. But you seem offended he's rich, which is, in itself, a prejudical remark. Who's the person who owns prejudice? Sterling, or you?
There's irony in the fact that the woman who brought him down is multi-ethnic.
I keep reading this sentiment bantered throughout this thread...
You do understand that the slave owner had no trouble raping the black woman at night, and whipping the skin off her back for breaking a sugar bowl the next day...don't you?
[edit]
I read this post incorrectly. The poster is correct, there is irony in the circumstances...
I was referring to posts such as: "He has a black girlfriend -- but if he doesn't like blacks..."

Reason: correcting
"God teaches us to forgive, and the way I look at it, after a sustained period of proof to the African American community that those words don't reflect his heart, I think there's room for forgiveness. I wouldn't be a Christian if I said there wasn't," Jenkins said.
"We are negotiating with him about giving more moneys to African American students at UCLA, and so we are in preliminary discussions," Jenkins said. He also noted, however, they had not spoken since the scandal broke.
It's all about the money, honey...
