HOPE: a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
Notice that HOPE doesn't require action. It's the simple thought of dreaming something will happen. I HOPE to become a multimillionaire... that should do it, I HOPE it happens tomorrow. Do you see how silly using HOPE for a campaign message really is?
America reached its peak in the period following the New Deal and began its decline during the Reagan administration. As a wise poster above recognized capitalism progresses to chaos as wealth and influence becomes concentrated in an ever smaller group of people. It erupts in violent revolution eventually unless wealth is redistributed. The New Deal succeeded in creating the vast middle class through various Robin Hood programs. With Reagan, we began to unwind those giving tax cuts to the wealthy and passing laws that favored more concentration of wealth at the high end. Obama talks like he understands the need to redistribute wealth and was going to finally put us back in the right direction. But his actual policies serve the wealthy who support the political process and have made matters even worse. The bailout of the banks while the middle class got nothing but the tab left little doubt who was calling the shots. We are headed down the path to social upheaval unless we reverse this trend.
Hilary and 0bama are both communists. Their goal is to “fundamentally transform” America into a perpetual one-party state. Individual liberty has no place in their new order.
Yes, that's a great point. When someone is guilty making an illegal donation to a campaign, that is an absolutely certain indication that their ideas about policy are flawed. Without your insightful comment, I never would have realized that if the messenger has committed an illegal act then his message must be wrong, regardless of whether there is any actual connection between the two. Thanks for pointing that out.
