They were kicking in the doors of unoccupied homes to supposedly secure unsecure weapons laying out in the open which was found to be an outright lie BUT they were forced to return the weapons to owners returning to their homes by no less than the PMO's office issuing an order to do so.
Not really your classic "gun grab" when they're returned to you, is it?
That had to be the fastest deflection from the intention of the thread I've seen.
CANADA + GUN CONTROL = NO MASSACRES WITH GUNS
But then again NZ has some of the stricter gun control laws and they had one of the worst massacres in history. Chicago? Detroit? Phily? sigh
WTH are you talking about, I said I hope they(the cops) take the shooter out before he has a chance to go to jail. If anybody is deflecting from the topic of the thread it is you, your post makes no sense.
Canada's gun laws are specific regarding how guns are secured...The guns taken were not secured properly, thus the owners broke the law...Lawbreakers are criminals....
The head of the commission for public complaints against the RCMP says a probe has been launched after Mounties seized guns from evacuated homes in the aftermath of flooding in High River, Alta.
RCMP officials said at the time that hundreds of weapons that had been left out in plain view and not secure had been taken to the High River detachment.....Most of the guns have been returned.
