I agree, take the firearms away from the criminals 1st, law enforcement 2nd, the federal government 3rd and the law abiding last, and only take the law abiding firearms away when all foreign governments have been removed from US soil.

Two: As I've said numerous times before .. When the criminal element chooses to follow the same gun laws, we can 'then' have a discussion about gun control!
There is one more minor problem, that the leftists would have in gun control.
Take all of the guns and folks like me will RULE!
There are many of us who can manufacture our own weapons .. which would also include ammo .. all without any need of help from outside arms dealers!
As I 'hinted' above .. it would seem that it is the leftists/liberals who are all about gun control which means that once they surrender their's, they will be defenseless.
Watch DeBlasio overturn 20 years of NYC refinement. They guy s' daughter is a drug user..and his son has grown his hair 3 feet high. ANy decent father would smack his son upset the head and make him dress and groom properly. The guy doesnt even have the prde and discipline to raise two kids properly, yet he somehow has the backbone and tenacity to control one of the largest and most complex cities in the world?LMFAO... NYC voters will get the city they deserve. Theyd just better hope a Republican like Guiliani is there to clean up the carnage again when the dust settles!
i actually agree with the OP, we do need more gun control. people dont shoot straight enough in this country. we need to get more rounds in the ten ring.

when the cops have trouble hitting the criminal with 80+ rounds that is 10 feet in front of them, there is a really big problem with the lack of gun control.
I can hit my target with 3 rounds fired and hit them with all 3 rounds. both at the range and in real life.
