I believe the two party system is killing this country. Their stranglehold on the election processes at all levels where party politics is allowed has led to the creation of money grubbers who have to do everything they can to keep getting re-elected so they can reach a position to where they can actually accomplish something. By that time they are brainwashed. Call it political Darwinism.
I truly despise both. They don't care for us. It is the lobbyist that fill their pockets and we don't. I wish they would all be in one building and the roof came down on every one of the politicians.
Good point about the lobbyists. The whole system works for their special interests, not the people. No matter how much some claim otherwise on the campaign trail.
Yup, hate both parties, they're just different sides of the same coin.
The only real difference is the press keeps one side in check while ignoring the other.

See, this is what kills me about you third party people. If you dont like either party, that is fine with me, but you have ventured into another realm when you claim to be mind readers or use broad generalizations like the above line.
Just because you believe the parties dont stand for good, does not mean the individuals in the party feel the same way.

The "two" parties are like pro wrestling. Fans like to get dressed up, buy bumper stickers & scream their lungs out at the bad guy, while supporting their guy. At the end of the match, both wrestlers shower up together, have dinner/drinks together, hop in a shared rental car & drive to the next town to repeat the show. They laugh at the idiots who think it's real. This is politics today.
The only "wasted" vote is for one of the two major parties, imo. The only way change can be effected is by enough of us voting 3rd party. If enough do that means these parties are losing voters & then they HAVE to change policy in order to retain their voters. That's why is matters.
Perfect analogy. Politicians are actually even more fake than pro wrestlers.

So yeah, I hate both parties about the same.
I believe the two party system is killing this country as well. They are both two sides of the same coin, nothing more than "meet the new boss, same as the old boss."

You're right -- ANY "politician" can be corrupted. I blame the 'system', as it almost guarantees that at some point, you'll be corrupt.
