They're only "pro choice" when it comes to murdering babies, they are anti-choice everything else. Want to own a gun? Want to buy a large soda? Want to keep most of your hard earned money? Want to freely express your faith? Want to keep your football team name? Want to control your own healthcare? Want to choose what your business can pay for? Want to choose the school for your kids? Sorry, not in their world.
The modern day liberal is really a socialist, and socialists are authoritarians, supporters of tyranny. Authoritarians don't allow room for "choice," only they're choice is allowed, choices they force on the will of the people for their "own good."
So you actually agree with being pro choice, you just think Democrats are hypocrite, atleast you admitted it.
1. The majority of Liberals are fine with you owning a gun, its the fact that you support lack gun laws that allow criminals to easily get guns that are the problem
2. This one only includes NYC and the man who put that ban into place is a Republican, and it isnt even a ban for gods sake, you can still buy 100% of the oversized drinks you want. It only cuts serving sizes and even that ban is only on certain soft drinks, not anything else.
3. The highest tax rate in Obama's Presidency is still lower than the lowest tax rate of the Reagan tax rates.
4. "freely express your faith" , when was that infringed on ???
5. You do control your own healthcare, again , when did that change ?
6. If you cant get your kid into a private school, that has nothing to do with liberals, that has to do with the school either not liking you, your kid, or you not having enough money/connections to get in.
I have no objection to a voucher system as long as the money is being spent to educate students and not to indoctrinate them into believing silly fairy tales.
Well the left think people of color can not think for themselves so they know what is best. I think all people of color speak very well for themselves. I respect them whether I agree with them or not.the democratic party has been using poor people (of all shades) as floor mats for years.
It's most Democrats that oppose vouchers not some. In many poll Repugs also majority oppose.

Polls show that blacks overwhelmingly agree with the Republican politicians on the issue. Hence all of the Democrat distortions and fear mongering on the subject, such as blacks would have to travel "30 miles" to find a better school and it would be mad max in the inner city schools after some kids leave.
Honesty question because I do not know the answer. But despite words of some Democrats, it seems clear their actions show they are not in favor of these things. School choice and vouchers are good for low income people. So just why exactly does it appear the Dems are against it?
Democrats do not wish those enslaved to government get a chance to betterr themselves . As soon as one of those enslaved to the government sees they can improve democrats would lose votes
Because they are not good for low income people. Imagine a bullet in your hand while the gun is inside a locked case, that you dont have a key to.
Now imagine living in inner city Chicago and having a school voucher for your kid, but the next closest "good school" is 30 miles away. You dont have a car( the gun), so how is the kid going to get there.
Now, i could go into detail about how the few middle class kids who can get to those schools are the least expensive to educate but get the same voucher amount as other kids leaving behind schools that are less funded proportionally, if you want me to ?

30 miles is the next closest good school? Do you honestly think that? Because apparently some kids don't have a car in their family or can't use the L Train or buses then no one should have a choice?
In a lot of these cases a student would be able to choose to walk to a school that is getting a C grade, as opposed to the school that is getting a D or F grade.

That's a faulty objection. Public money already goes to private religious-affiliated schools (Notre Dame, American University, Georgetown, Boston College, Emory, etc.) in the form of grants and scholarships for students and no one bats an eye.
