Still Obamacare does have some problems like hurting some small businesses, and raising insurance premiums on some consumers. But liberals and conservatives both have their faults, and they are supposed to work together and fix/fine tune each others programs. But republicans refuse to address and fix Obamacares problems. Instead republicans in Washington want Obamacare to fail. House GOP: Yes, we want Obamacare to fail - Washington Times
I wish republicans and democrats could have actual conversations about healthcare spending and the uninsured. But instead republicans will only attack Obamacare, and hope it fails so Obamacare can be used as a campaign issue in 2016.
This republican/conservative has voted several times to defund Obamacare, but he doesn't want Obamacare to fail. Instead he introduced a bill that would exempt some small businesses from the mandate to provide insurance to their employees under Obamacare. Looks like we do have a real conservative in Washington.
I wonder if democrats blocked/voted against his commonsense bill?
You're being disingenuous. The entire Democratic Party couldn't get behind true UHC because many Democrats from purple states would have been voted out for supporting "socialism." That's why we got the ACA instead. That's the political reality.
Wrong. There are still some Democrats who realize that government can't run anything.
Look at the Obamacare WEBSITE just for example. Can you tell me with a straight face that Congress can run a medical system?
Look at the VA system, notice how it is corrupt, dishonest, ineffective, and wasteful. What makes you think that adding 50 times more people and money would not result in an even bigger debacle?
So... Either recant your love of government run things... Or start providing some REALLY good arguments that what you want isn't just completely insane.

If a politician is truly a representative of his constituents and believes something is in their best interest then if he is truly a representative he should vote for their interest irrespective of the consequences. They had that opportunity and opted not to. You can't lay that on anyone but the Democrats who voted for the ACA. It was their responsibility and they didn't follow what they believed was right. Sorry, you can't lay that on the Republicans door... I'm not a republican and I can see that. Your representatives should have fallen on the sword and followed their beliefs.
And many home care companies and members of The Academy and Caregiver Quality Assurance will qualify as ‘large employers’ under the ACA even though they employee few full time employees, and they support this bill. Small Business Fairness in Obamacare Act | Leading Home Care
The people elected to serve their constiuents passed the ACA sight unseen. That was egregious in my opinion. Very few specialists are accepting these plans in my city.

That dialog was attempted by the Republicans prior to passage of the ACA. It was dismissed out of hand. How long does this horse get beat to death?
Yeah, we all wish the Democrats could have passed single payer instead of having to settle for the Republican plan with its mandates. But Conservatives were determined to not allow that, thus here we are with the Republican mandates instead. But on the plus side, I and millions of other Americans who were uninsured now have health insurance. Still hoping for some form of universal healthcare--perhaps once the Tea Party dies off we can engage in sensible dialogue on this and many other the issues. As long as they are in control of the GOP that will not be possible.
Just out of curiosity, what is your deductible?
