According to Politico - Ted Cruz was on TV last night and accused the FAA & State Department of imposing a Flight Ban on Israel as "punishment" and for Political purposes.
After the FAA announced that it would extend a ban on U.S.-based airlines flying into or out of Ben Gurion International Airport for another 24 hours, Cruz issued a statement that stated “President Obama [had] just used a federal regulatory agency to launch an economic boycott on Israel, in order to try to force our ally to comply with his foreign-policy demands.”
The State Department vehemently objected to Cruz’s comments.
The State Department issued a rebuttal and said his statement was "offensive" (their new favorite word, right next to "phony") - BUT, it a matter of hours the FAA ban was mysterious lifted.
So, it's time for Hamas to stop firing rockets ask for ceasefire?
Oh, never. When you're as vicious and violent as Hamas members, and bent on genocide, the fact that your actions got hundreds of your neighbors and supporters killed are irrelevant. Never admit you made a horrible mistake, one that has hurt your country. Kinda like Obama voters.
How would Israelis feel if 4,000,000 Chinese moved into Israel, confiscated everything and decided it would now be called West Beijing? And whenever an Israeli resisted and shot a Chinese soldier or citizen, they killed 100-300 Israelis in retaliation and bulldozed Synagogues and homes?
This isn't a relevant comparison to what I wrote. I mentioned that Jews were killed by Arabs in Hebron (which is now part of the West Bank) in 1929 and these Jewish families had lived there for generations. This was way before 1948 and the establishment of the State of Israel. So saying that all the Jews killed were ones that immigrated from other regions to the area and therefore it is justified to kill them means that the person making the original statement has not checked all the relevant background and facts that led up to the current situation.

I guess they'd feel kind of like the thousands of Native Americans that lived on what are now the lands of America, before they were invaded by barbarians from Europe, who proceeded to kill them, sicken them, march them to desolate areas and watch while they dropped like flies, and destroyed their culture.
The UN did NOT vote to investigate Israeli actions as possible war crimes.
Yes, they did.
"Navi Pillay, the UN high commissioner for human rights, warned earlier that Israel may have committed war crimes in its offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, where hundreds of Palestinian civilians have been killed in the past two weeks.
"There seems to be a strong possibility that international law has been violated, in a manner that could amount to war crimes," Pillay said, citing air strikes and the shelling of homes and hospitals. The killing of civilians in Gaza, including dozens of children, raised concerns over Israel's precautions and its respect for proportionality, she said.
...the 47-member Geneva state forum adopted a resolution by a vote of 29 states in favour, one against (the United States) with 17 abstentions (including some European Union members).
The resolution called for the urgent dispatch of "an independent, international commission of inquiry" to investigate "all violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem, particularly in the occupied Gaza Strip".

It's absolutely relevant to the situation as it exists, now.
There are still people living who had their farms taken away in the name of some absurd, 3000 year old religious superstition.
If you took away my home and land, killed members of my family, occupied my hometown, guess what I'd do to you?
Israel isn't going anywhere, the Hamas ****heads need to just go away so a solution can be worked out but let there be no doubt, there's a reason the civilized world views Israel as it does while the USA! USA! USA! views it in another.
So, it's time for Hamas to stop firing rockets and ask for ceasefire? Any ceasefire, ASAP, without 1, 2 or 3 conditions. Just to save lives...
Well, negotiations are ongoing --- they involve Kerry, Israel, Egypt and other parties. I wonder if they even bothered to include a representative from Hamas, or anyone who lives in Gaza. Probably not.
"At least 15 people have been killed and 200 injured in the Israeli shelling of a UN school in northern Gaza that was being used as an emergency shelter, the Gaza health ministry says.
Robert Turner, the UNRWA director in Gaza, said there was no warning from the Israelis about the attack on the school in Beit Hanoun.
He said they were in contact with Israeli forces about a window to evacuate the school before the attack happened.
"This is a designated emergency shelter,” he said.
“The location was conveyed to the Israelis.
He said he had no information that there was military activity around the school.
"This was an installation we were managing, that monitored [to ensure] that our neutrality was maintained.
“We always call on all parties to ensure that civilians are not harmed."
BTW: this is NOT a duplicate thread, it's a brand new atrocity reported just minutes ago.
