You make a good point, which I will assert is an even bigger hit on Barack Obama. When a foreign ally campaigns on not having a good relationship with the President of the United States, then it goes without saying that the President of the United States is worthless.

GOOD!

Let the people in the ME solve their own problems without American interference.
Mr. Transparency shouldn't have been writing checks with his mouth that he couldn't cash. I am glad that Obama's aggression into Syria was stopped, but it was Obama's lack of trustworthiness that has turned off our ally's prime minister. He was encouraged into his own actions and own statements by Obama's BS. Trust Obama at your own risk.

Turkey getting outed didn't help as Syria retaliated a bit against them.

Bottom line: Obama is a horrible leader and is extremely disingenuous. This is hurting our standing in the world. The chanting and fainting stops a little earlier with some than others when real world consequences are seen.

When you go back through History you see most Presidents have at least one or two other world leaders at the time which they maintained close relations and counsel.

This POSTUS not so much.

Well, to be frank Erdogan has some very totalitarian tendencies. I despise the way he treated the protesters in Istanbul last year. In addition he is one corrupt character, who takes a lot of heat in Turkey. He is even jailing journalists. I don't blame President Obama pissing him off. Good job, Barrack.

I chuckled when I saw conservatives siding with the corrupt leader of Turkey to diss the POTUS. How patriotic...

It's to be expected from today's conservatives. Witness their love affair with ex-KGB agent Putin.

Too many liberals are false intellectuals. Under Bush, dissent is the highest form of patriotism. Under Obama it is treasonous. I am not siding with or approving Erdogan's corruption, anymore than I side or approve of Obama's corruption.

I am disappointed that Obama saying one thing and doing another has upset yet another world leader. Merkel was the other most recent one.

Obama was suppose to repair our world standing - not make it worse with our allies, especially in a region where we need allies.

Interesting that right wing extremists respect so very much the words of a pro-Islamist dictator in favor of spreading Sharia law. You guys really ought to make up your minds who you support. Oh wait--I get it--anyone that goes negative on Obama. Sometimes Putin is a "statesman" and now Erdogan--who is pissed off that the US is supporting Israel and not the Palestinians?

Umm... Romney was the one saying Putin can't be trusted and Obama was the one telling Putin that he can have greater flexibility after the election and criticizing Romney for taking Putin seriously. Obamabots were having a field day with Obama's comments before they bit him in the rear.

Using your "logic", people, including democrats that say we were better off with Saddam then if we went in are supporting and approving of gassing Kurds and all of the other Saddam atrocities?

Or is it possible to say that Obama shouldn't be ticking off world leaders of allied countries by saying one thing and doing another without supporting that world leader's actions?
