Your protest rings false--of course you are siding with him. Anyone that says something negative about Obama becomes a right-wing extremist hero. The hypocrisy is so transparent. Too many conservatives are false patriots. Under Bush--"gotta support the president." Under Obama -- have to do everything possible to undermine the president.

Obama was suppose to repair our world standing - not make it worse with our allies, especially in a region where we need allies.
Merkel?? Merkel has bigger things to worry about--like not becoming a satellite of Russia and Putin due to the energy dependency of Germany. She's beginning to be viewed as his beyotch.

And at least Obama didn't give her an unwelcome back rub at a state dinner.

I have to LOL. All of the EU is holding back from harsh sanctions against Russia.
The US is pressuring them all but they trade with Russia. The US is not going to win this one.

France is going ahead with their deal with Russia to build warships for them.

Like it or not the US is slowly losing their power.

You make low IQ arguments - why?

#1 Saying we shouldn't have went into Iraq is no more an endorsement for gassing Kurds than saying that we shouldn't upset leaders of allied countries with duplicitous talk is an endorsement of that allied leader's actions.

#2 No one in this thread has made a hero of the Turkish prime minister. Show me where anyone is elevating him. You can't. You have no logical or intelligent support of that insane assertion. I am merely pointing out that Obama has upset him with duplicitous talk.

#3 You are diverting from Merkel in factually being upset with Obama. Why? You can't handle that fact?

Perhaps you are too emotionally infatuated with Obama to think critically - so any criticism of Obama clouds your brain?

LOL. Germany is not becoming a satellite State of Russia. Russia sells relatively cheap natural gas to Germany. In exchange Germany is helping Russia to exploit their resources and modernize the russian economy. Germany is the biggest outside investor in Russia. Its an relationship which is benfitting both sides very much. Germany and Russia always had very close ecomomic relations since the czar Catherine the Great (who was Prussian).
I understand that the United States do not like the German-Russian relationship.
But that relationship is here to stay and may even increase once the crisis with Ukraine is solved.

Love those that classify anyone who questions Team Obama as a "right wing extremist" or a "racist".

It's been Obama that "respected" the Pro-Islamist Dictator of Turkey. Erdogan was his best buddy - we outsourced our Foreign Policy to Ergodan for years and that didn't work out so well. It's not "respect" for Turkey or Putin - it's ridicule for the Russian Re-set & Flexibility after the Election. It's ridicule that we bent over backwards for Erdogan and now he announces in a 'snit' that he won't even accept a telephone call from Obama.

As to "who you support" ..... the answer is The Best Interests of the United States of America.
Erdogan and Putin have never supported those interests - the Mystery is why did Obama support both Erdogan & Putin?

Obama appreciates that Ankara is willing to bear the burden of policy toward Syria, from imposing sanctions against Assad to supporting the opposition, following a strategy grandfathered by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

The upswing in U.S.-Turkish ties is likely to last. Washington Post - November 2011

It only lasted until Obama could not keep the Muslim Brotherhood in power.

I agree but you cannot turn your backs on allies abruptly.
We are going to have to ween them off our welfare.
