I know A LOT of millenials who are opposed to gay marriage. And most Democrats used to be against gay marriage-including Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

This whole thread is stupid.

What is moderate about pretending two guys pounding each other's pooper is essentially the same as a normal sexual relationship between a man and a woman?

That's not moderate and it's not what voters care about.

The GOP needs to grow a pair and take the lead in abolishing all state sanctioned personal relationships, but let's not get confused about why Republicans lose elections.

Republicans lose elections because the Republicans in question are corporate whores who make big tax cuts for billionaires the center piece of their campaigns while Democrats shamelessly buy votes with Bridge Cards and free phones.

As long as Democrats are able to keep the economy in the sh*tter with near-zero interest rates and a hopelessly weak dollar, they'll be a position to buy votes and win big while the corporate ***** RINOs square off with the true conservatives that represent the only alternative to government of the government, by the government and for the government.

Voters aren't p*ssed off about same-sex mariage.

They're p*ssed off about not having an alternative to the same self-serving blow-hards that have been in DC for decades.

They want government to start representing their interest again.

Not all millennials are for gay marriage, though more than older folks. I don't know about forgive, they just won't vote for Republicans when the views are diametrically opposed.

Less than 3% of the US population and the outspoken activists. It doesn't affect anybody else who is a millenial.

People who support gay marriage do so because they support notion that everyone should be able to marry whomever they please . Other than that gay marriage does not affect their lives, it only impacts lives of LGBT folks.

Hopefully their memories arent so short that they cant forget what the Tea Party and Republicans gave us with two wars costing 3 trillion, the housing bubble, and a total collapse of the economy where they were left holding the bag while the Tea Party types started collecting their government benefits and complaining about them.

Forgive them for what? Having a different opinion from those who are gay and want to be married?
That is a bit one sided isn't it to say that one group should forgive another group for their opinion.

I don't like mushrooms so I should forgive those who do like mushrooms for liking mushrooms or they should forgive me for not liking mushrooms?

The entire idea is way too politically correct simply because humans will always have opinions about things that are different than others opinion about the same thing.
