All of us haven't said that.

I'm sorry but if you invade my country, drop bombs, destroy my infrastructure, leave me and my children w/o a home, running water, food, and electricity, and kill my family members and other innocent civilians, I think my hate for you isn't going to be just because of my religion...

You all can not be so naive to say these people are just pure evil, hate us for no legitimate reason, and our country has no blame in the matter...
So Foley, a journalist (not even a military man) had to die? He didn't die because they hate America, he died because they couldn't get ransom for him. They need money to carry on their savagery everywhere, not just in America. They are holding other nationals too, you know.

It's not their land. They are invaders. And ISIS is pure evil.

I believe that I expressed similar thoughts on this as well. What some Americans fail to see is that if the shoe were on the other foot, we'd be doing the same thing to invaders on our land. In short, pull every American out of there, cut off ALL money, ALL aid, and leave these people to their vices.

No argument. However, I see no reason to throw away the lives of American servicemen to protect the people of the Middle East. We lost enough lives doing so already. If the people of Iraq don't want ISIS there, they can stand up and fight them. Not our young men and women.

Lets look at the truth though-the people of Iraq ARE ISIS. Many are Iraqi citizens, and the balance don't do crap to stop them. Iraq's population is 31 million...if they didn't want ISIS there, it wouldn't be there.

No more American lives for these people!

I agree, but I have no objection to helping the Kurds with munitions and air strikes.

Claim that high tech is evil; yet use the internet to recruit and post evil; come on, they are nut cases of the highest level; along the lines of Hitler. Someone needs to stop ISIS and their band of creeps hiding behind ski masks and black clothing. What are they afraid of?

We have Hagel saying IS is beyond anything we've seen, must eventually be defeated, and can't be defeated without addressing the Syrian side of the non-border.

Meanwhile, as IS grows militarily and financially stronger every day, the U.S. has averaged a whopping 6 drone and jet airstrikes/day in northern Iraq.

Is the U.S. going to let the ME fight it out among themselves ? Nope, unless you or someone with your views controls the government. I put that in the never happen column along with the 'nuke 'em' contingent.

Please explain just why we should put sacrifice more American servicemen and women to defend the people of the Middle East. IMO we have wasted the lives of far too many Americans doing so already. They support these brutal thugs, they can have them.

I think we don't want another radical Islamist group to have a safe haven for training bases. That doesn't take boots on the ground IMO. Drones and Hellfire missiles can handle most of this.
