To accommodate all the gun fetishists, I suggest they let them set up a sniper nest in the school gymnasium balcony, or at the top of the bleachers, to insure the school play does not get out of hand.

Exactly. It's child neglect for a child to ever be out of eyeshot of an armed adult. Anytime a kid is left unsupervised or the supervising parent is found to be unarmed, the parents should be arrested and charged with child neglect and endangerment.

As a citizen of these United States of America, I should never ever have to announce to the world, I have a .38 in my boot and then ask permission to have it.

A fellow parent asked him about the gun. He said it was to protect him and his family from anyone who would harm them. The other guy explained that no one is there to hurt anyone. To that the man with the gun said, well then, no one need worry about my gun.

"Shall not be infringed"

Idiotic. I would remove my child from that school immediately. Low reward and huge risk.

The funny thing about this thread there are very few Tea Party-2nd Amendment advocates who have a child under the age of 30 or have a clue about raising children or who have ever been to a PTA meeting.. Typical Tea Partying 2nd Amendment advocate has children ..... they are his collection of 30 or more guns...they dont have a clue about children. Next thing Tea Party types will want will be to arm children in school...think that is absurd...think again the Tea Party types want guns on the school grounds.

So you have been to a PTA meeting or parent-teacher meeting and yet you advocate guns on elementary school grounds including open carry...Please explain your position.

Do they frisk you on the way in? How would they even KNOW you have a gun? Are they planning on wearing it as a fashion accessory?
